A female crew member was found dead aboard Celebrity Constellation after the vessel arrived at La Spezia, Italy, on July 19, 2026.
What Happened
The 33-year-old stewardess, who was from Mauritius, was reportedly found in her cabin by her partner, who was also employed aboard the ship. The ship’s medical team attended and pronounced her dead. Italian authorities were investigating the circumstances, and the cause of death had not been officially confirmed.

Police, forensic specialists and representatives of the local prosecutor’s office boarded the vessel in La Spezia.
