What happened

A Brilliant Lady crew member was charged in the United States following allegations of sexual assaults involving passengers during a 2026 voyage.

What happened

The crew member, a shipboard hairstylist, was charged with two counts of abusive sexual contact after allegedly providing unauthorised massages. The allegations had not been tested in court.

Response and investigation

The crew member was removed from duty, Virgin Voyages notified the FBI, and the suspect was arrested after the ship returned to Seattle. The investigation and legal proceedings remained ongoing. No finding of guilt was recorded.
