Color Fantasy crew medevac was carried out on December 13, 2025, after a 30-year-old female crew member sustained serious injuries while the ferry was navigating the Kiel Fjord in Germany.
The medical emergency was reported shortly after Color Fantasy left Kiel for Oslo, Norway. The request was coordinated through maritime rescue authorities, with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Stavanger relaying the case to the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre in Bremen.
DGzRS deployed the rescue vessel HANS HACKMACK from Laboe. Approximately 600 metres off Laboe, the rescue boat manoeuvred alongside Color Fantasy and transferred the injured crew member ashore. She was taken to Laboe and then flown by rescue helicopter to a specialist hospital for further treatment. No further condition update was reported.
