Introduction
Carnival Glory alleged assault allegations led to a passenger’s arrest after two children were reportedly struck during a late-July 2026 voyage.
What Happened
The incident reportedly occurred while a group of children were playing in a corridor aboard the ship. Investigators allege that the passenger struck two children, causing one to report a bleeding lip and headache and the other to report abdominal pain. Ship security footage was reviewed as part of the investigation. The allegations have not been proven in court.
Response and Investigation
After Carnival Glory returned to Port Canaveral, Florida, on July 27, officers from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested the passenger. He was charged with child abuse, booked into the county jail and later released on bond while legal proceedings continued. No deaths were reported.
