Blue Star 2 Bomb Threat Forces Diversion to Lavrio, Greece – 12 June 2026

Blue Star 2 bomb threat caused the ferry to divert to Lavrio, Greece, on 12 June 2026, while it was sailing from Piraeus toward destinations in the southeastern Aegean.

The vessel had departed Piraeus for scheduled calls at Syros, Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, Kos and Rhodes when authorities received the threat.
