AIDAperla passenger medevac was conducted on February 3, 2026, after a 37-year-old male passenger reportedly suffered an apparent heart attack while the ship was at sea off Bonaire.
The ship’s medical team sent a distress report and consulted an on-call physician. After the passenger’s condition was assessed, medical personnel determined that he required immediate transfer ashore for specialised care.
