What happened
On Thursday, June 22, 2023, a Bombardier Global 6000 registered 9H-AMF and operated by Hyperion Aviation was landing on runway 30 at Adelaide Airport, South Australia, when the aircraft's wing struck the runway surface.
At approximately 10:57 am local time, during the landing phase, the left wing made contact with the runway, resulting in minor damage to the wing structure. The aircraft continued to land safely, and all persons on board were unharmed. Weather conditions at the time included scattered to broken cloud at 1,700 to 3,200 feet, light rain, and a wind from 320 degrees at 17 knots.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) was notified of the occurrence and is gathering information about the circumstances of the wing strike.
