A ute has been torn apart in a horrific crash that occurred in Kurmond, approximately 70km west of Sydney.
Details of the Kurmond Crash
The crash happened around 1 am on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, on Kurmond Road near the intersection with Meadows Road. Emergency services arrived to find the ute split in half. The driver, a 28-year-old P-plate driver, had fled the scene.
Driver Found Injured
The driver was located about two hours later in bushland, approximately 1.5km from the crash site. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a broken collarbone and lacerations. He was then taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition and will undergo mandatory testing.
