Injuries
- Injured: 84-year-old woman using a mobility wheelie walker, sustained life-threatening injuries and transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
- Driver: Male driver of the Ford Ranger, uninjured and assisting police with inquiries.
Crash Description
The elderly pedestrian was attempting to cross the intersection when she was struck by the Ford Ranger. Emergency services responded promptly and transported her to hospital in critical condition.
Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. Officers are appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time of the incident.
