Police are appealing for public assistance following a single-vehicle traffic crash at Paradise Point on Saturday, February 17.

Officers were called to the Bruce Avenue address near the Esplanade around 11pm after the white 2000 Toyota utility crashed, moments after an object hit the windscreen of the vehicle.

The 17-year-old Hope Island boy who was driving the utility, was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious facial injuries.

Police are appealing to witnesses, particularly anyone with mobile phone vision, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
