Incident Overview

Emergency Response

Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Police attended the scene. Three patients with serious injuries were transported to hospital by ambulance. The motorway was managed by emergency services during the initial response and investigation phase.

Investigation

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances of the collision. Police are examining the sequence of events that led to the Mitsubishi Triton striking the stationary police vehicle from behind.
