Incident Overview
Queensland Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between a car and an e-bike at Berserker on Sunday, 17 August 2026.
Location and Time
- Date and time: Around 3.50pm on Sunday, 17 August 2026.
- Location: The intersection of Berserker Street and Rodboro Street, Berserker, Queensland.
Vehicles and People Involved
- A white Mitsubishi Outlander carrying its driver and three passengers.
- A white e-bike ridden by a 15-year-old boy.
Injuries
The e-bike rider was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital with serious injuries. Police said the three Mitsubishi passengers were not physically injured.
Charge and Investigation
Police allege the Mitsubishi driver, a 30-year-old Berserker woman, was charged with one count of driving while a relevant drug was present in blood. She was issued a notice to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on 9 October. A charge is an allegation and not a finding of guilt. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
