A heart-wrenching Jimbour East crash has left a family shattered, claiming the lives of a father and his two sons while their mother battles life-threatening injuries in the hospital.

Jimbour East Crash Overview
The fatal collision occurred on Monday morning around 11 am on Dalby-Jandowae Road at Jimbour East, northwest of Toowoomba. The family of four was travelling in a sedan when it was allegedly rear-ended by a LandCruiser ute.

The two boys, aged nine and fifteen, who were seated in the back of the sedan, and their father, in his 50s, tragically lost their lives at the scene. Their mother, the sole survivor, was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with critical abdominal and chest injuries.

While the exact cause of the Jimbour East crash is under investigation, witnesses reported that the family’s car had stopped to assist a council worker mowing on the roadside. The driver of the ute sustained back injuries and was taken to Toowoomba Hospital.
