Idalia home collision
A car entered a home in Idalia, Townsville, at about 9.30pm on Sunday, 26 July 2026.
Incident Details
7News reported that the sedan went through a wall into the home’s living room and kitchen.
No Resident Injuries
The two people inside the home, both aged in their 60s, were not injured.
Driver Treatment
A 23-year-old man identified by the report as the alleged driver was taken to Townsville University Hospital for treatment.
Police Allegation
7News reported that police expected to allege the man had been driving under the influence of drugs. The report said charges had not been laid at the time of publication. Any allegation is unproven.
