Incident Overview
A 20-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle at Greenbank on Monday, 13 July 2026.
Location and Time
The collision occurred on Middle Road shortly before 9pm.
The man’s friends attempted to assist him, but he died at the scene.
Police Investigation
Police seized a black sedan believed to be involved and subjected it to forensic examination. Investigators are also seeking a utility vehicle and its occupants, who police believe may be able to assist with enquiries.
Appeal for Information
Anyone who saw the black sedan before the incident, knows about the utility’s movements afterwards, or travelled on Middle Road near Andrew Road is urged to check dashcam footage and contact police. Police reference QP2601357862.
