A 33-year-old man from Sarina died following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Sarina Beach Road on the evening of Saturday, 11 May 2024. The rider was travelling east when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a pole at approximately 9:10pm local time.

Investigation

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Investigations are continuing to determine the factors that led to the motorcycle leaving the roadway.
