Incident Overview

On Monday, 27 November 2023, a truck rollover on the Bruce Highway near Clairview in Mackay, Queensland, claimed the life of the driver. The incident occurred at approximately 11:40am when the truck left the road and rolled while travelling southbound.

Queensland Police attended the scene and declared the driver deceased. Forensic Crash Unit investigations commenced immediately and are continuing.

The rollover occurred on the southbound carriageway of the Bruce Highway near Clairview, Mackay, at approximately 11:40am on Monday, 27 November 2023.
