On Monday, December 11, 2023, a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on Hoya Road near Bartholomew Avenue at Boonah, Queensland. A white 2005 Mitsubishi Triton left the roadway and struck a pole, resulting in the death of the driver.

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit attended the scene and declared the 67-year-old driver deceased at the location. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30pm local time.
