A man and a young boy have tragically died after being struck by a ute on Green Road, Regents Park, south of Brisbane. The fatal crash occurred late Sunday morning, shocking the local community.

- Deceased: 33-year-old male pedestrian, pronounced dead at the scene
- Deceased: 4-year-old boy, also died at the scene
- Driver: 41-year-old male ute driver, taken into custody and assisting police
Crash Description
Initial reports indicate the man and child, who were related, were walking to a nearby service station to buy ice cream when they were struck by the ute. Emergency services responded quickly, but both victims died at the scene.
Investigation
The driver of the ute has been taken into custody and is assisting Queensland Police with inquiries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash, with further details expected pending forensic examinations.
Witnesses/Appeals
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident, to come forward and assist the investigation.
