A woman has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Moodlu, north of Caboolture this morning (August 29).
Initial reports indicate at approximately 7.15am, a Toyota utility travelling westbound on the D’Aguilar Highway collided with a Mazda hatchback travelling eastbound.
A 37-year-old Wamuran woman died at the scene.
An eight-year-old girl was transported to the Queensland Children’s Hospital Hospital with multiple serious injuries.
The driver of the utility, a 25-year-old man, was also transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Two other drivers were physically uninjured.
The D’Aguilar Highway will remain closed for at least the next two hours to allow emergency service crews to safely respond.
Investigations are ongoing.
