Incident Overview
A man and a young boy have tragically died following a traffic crash in Regents Park, Logan, on the morning of Sunday, 17 August 2025.

  • White LDV dual cab utility

Injuries/Fatalities

  • Deceased: A 33-year-old man from Crestmead (pedestrian), pronounced dead at the scene.
  • Deceased: A 4-year-old boy from Crestmead (pedestrian), pronounced dead at the scene.
  • Driver: A 41-year-old Regents Park man, uninjured, taken into custody at the scene.

Crash Description
Preliminary investigations indicate the two pedestrians, who were known to each other, were struck by the LDV utility while on Green Road. Both victims suffered fatal injuries and died before emergency responders could intervene.

Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The 41-year-old driver is assisting police with inquiries.

Witnesses/Appeals
Police are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicle prior to the incident, or any other relevant information, to contact authorities.
