On Sunday, 17 August 2025, a fatal traffic crash in Regents Park, Logan, claimed the lives of two pedestrians: a 33-year-old man and a 4-year-old boy, both from Crestmead. The collision involved a white LDV dual cab utility and occurred on Green Road at approximately 11:15am local time.

Both victims suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The 41-year-old driver from Regents Park was uninjured and taken into custody at the scene to assist police with inquiries.

Emergency Response

Emergency responders attended the scene on Green Road following the collision. Despite their arrival, both pedestrians had already suffered fatal injuries and could not be revived.

Investigation

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The 41-year-old driver is assisting police with inquiries. Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicle prior to the incident, or any other relevant information, to come forward.
