Incident Overview
Three people were killed and two others were critically injured in a two-vehicle collision on the Bass Highway at Elizabeth Town in northern Tasmania.

- A white Chery station wagon
- A white Isuzu D-MAX towing a trailer
Injuries and Fatalities
Two 19-year-old women from the Devonport area who were travelling in the Chery died at the scene.
A 51-year-old Wynyard man who was a rear-seat passenger in the Isuzu D-MAX also died at the scene. Two other men in the D-MAX, both aged in their 40s, remained in a critical condition at Royal Hobart Hospital in the latest police update.
Emergency Response
Emergency services attended the crash scene, while the two critically injured men were subsequently receiving treatment at Royal Hobart Hospital.
Police Investigation
Tasmania Police said the cause of the crash remained under investigation. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
