A 94-year-old woman from Burrungule has died following a two-vehicle crash in South Australia’s South East region on Wednesday afternoon, 13 August 2025. The collision involved a sedan and a utility vehicle at the intersection of Carpenter Rocks Road and Dixons Road, approximately 20 minutes west of Mount Gambier.

SA Police report that the vehicles collided at the rural intersection under circumstances yet to be determined. Emergency services responded promptly; however, the elderly driver could not be saved.
