Incident Overview

A car struck eight unoccupied parked vehicles and several bins along Shepherd Street at Colyton about 12:30pm on 17 July 2026.

Final Impact

Police were told the car stopped after colliding with another moving car.

Damage

Vehicles were damaged along a stretch of more than 500 metres, and footage showed a tyre thrown during the impacts.

Injuries

No physical injuries were reported.

Driver

Police identified the alleged driver as a 25-year-old man.

Roadside Test

Police alleged a roadside breath test returned a positive result.

Further Testing

The man was arrested and taken to Nepean Hospital for additional testing.

Investigation

Investigations continued, and the allegations had not been determined.
