Incident Overview

On Saturday, November 9, 2024, a serious single-vehicle crash occurred on Gowan Road in Stretton, Queensland, just before 11pm. A red Toyota Camry left the roadway and struck a tree, resulting in two occupants being transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency Response

Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Police attended the scene. Both occupants were transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigation

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Police are appealing for any witnesses or persons with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of Gowan Road in the area to come forward with information.
