What happened

Incident Overview

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, a serious two-vehicle collision occurred on Samford Road in Enoggera, Queensland, involving a station wagon and a motorcycle travelling in opposite directions. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital, while the station wagon occupants were physically unharmed.

Queensland Police attended the scene and have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. The Forensic Crash Unit is now leading the inquiry and has appealed for CCTV and dashcam footage from the area.

The collision occurred on Samford Road in Enoggera at approximately 8:35pm on Thursday evening, December 8, 2022.

Emergency Response

Queensland Police and Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene. The motorcycle rider was transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition. The station wagon driver and passengers did not require medical transport.

Investigation

Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the collision. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it to come forward with information. CCTV and dashcam footage from the area is particularly sought.
