Scott Forster is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia and has been practising since 1996.
Prior to working at Carter Capner Law, Scott was an in-house legal counsel and trust manager at a private trustee company for 17 years, and in that time developed a deep understanding of and high level of knowledge in all matters of succession law including estate planning, estate and trust litigation, estate and trust administration, and elder law issues. He has developed a passion for this area of law and is always keen to understand and resolve the issues his clients have in the most practical and effective manner.
Scott Forster is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has been since 2005, where membership requires expertise in trusts and estates. He is a former treasurer and committee member of the STEP QLD branch.
When he is not at work, Scott is a keen sports enthusiast and if not playing indoor soccer or golf, or swimming laps, is watching his favourite teams play. He is the father of 2 growing teenagers, a trivia nut and long-time sufferer of the wine bug.
