Introduction
Carnival Dream was delayed near Belize City on May 13, 2026, after its crew experienced difficulty retrieving an anchor during departure preparations.
What Happened
The anchor malfunction required additional technical attention and prevented the ship from leaving its anchorage as scheduled. The delay shortened the planned call at Cozumel.
