Circumstances:
On October 17, 2025, a light aircraft crashed while attempting to land at Busselton Margaret River Airport, located approximately 225 kilometres southwest of Perth.
At around 2:25 p.m. local time, emergency services were called to the airport after the aircraft, carrying two men, crashed during the landing phase. The impact resulted in both occupants sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
A male pilot and a passenger, both in their 50s, were onboard. One man was treated at the scene by paramedics, while the other declined medical assistance. The extent of damage to the aircraft has not been publicly detailed.
