Circumstances:

Garuda Indonesia flight GA712 was operating a scheduled passenger service from Jakarta to Sydney. Approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival, while en route west of Sydney, the Airbus A330-343 encountered turbulence.

According to statements attributed to the operator, the turbulence resulted in minor injuries to two cabin crew members. No passengers were reported injured.

The flight continued to Sydney, where it landed without further incident. No damage to the aircraft was reported.
