On Wednesday, September 26, 2024, a 20-year-old man from Wattle Ridge was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the Bunya Highway near Sinclairs Road in the Bunya Mountains, Queensland.
Details of the Crash
At approximately 11:30 AM, the man’s car left the road and collided with a tree. Emergency services responded to the scene and treated the man for life-threatening injuries. He was then airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition.

Sadly, the young man succumbed to his injuries and passed away in hospital on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
