Injuries/Fatalities

The 29-year-old female passenger in the Kia Sportage died at the scene. The 40-year-old male driver of the Kia sustained life-threatening chest and pelvic injuries and was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital. Three children who were passengers in the Kia – a five-year-old girl, a three-year-old girl, and a one-year-old girl – were taken to Warwick Hospital with minor injuries. The 25-year-old male driver of the Nissan Patrol was also taken to Warwick Hospital for treatment.
