A 76-year-old Wilsonton man injured in a two vehicle crash at Toowoomba yesterday (December 3) has died in hospital.
Preliminary information indicates around 4pm a blue 2010 Holden Cruze sedan was travelling west along James Street when a collision occurred with a black 2004 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle travelling east along James Street at the intersection of Hulme Street.
The rider, a 76-year-old Wilsonton man, was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a critical condition where he died this morning (December 4).
The driver of the sedan, a 26-year-old Withcott woman, and a 6-year-old passenger were uninjured in the incident.
Any witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash or the moments leading up to it, are urged to contact police.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
