Queensland Police have taken a man into custody in relation to a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Wacol on Tuesday, May 28.

It is alleged at approximately 2.15am, a Ford Mondeo and Toyota Camry crashed at the intersection of Boundary Road and Progress Road.

The male passenger of the Toyota Camry was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford Mondeo left the scene prior to police arrival.

The driver, a 28-year-old Goodna man, presented himself, without incident, to Acacia Ridge police this evening, June 3.

Investigations are continuing.
