A man has been taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash in Molendinar overnight.

At 10.42pm the Ford Fiesta was headed north on Olsen Avenue when the driver has lost control near the intersection with Crestwood Drive.

The car has collided with the median strip before rolling several times and hitting a tree.

The driver, a 30-year-old Maudsland man, was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Investigations are continuing.
