Police are investigating a serious traffic crash involving a truck and car at Loganlea last night, October 22.

Around 8.15pm, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash involving a truck and Audi S5 on the Logan Motorway at Loganlea.

Initial investigations indicate an Audi S5 collided with the back of the truck. The truck continued to travel a few hundred metres before the truck ignited and became fully engulfed.

The two occupants of the Audi then left the scene in an unknown direction.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was transported to Logan hospital for assessment.

Police investigations indicate the Audi was stolen from Inala Avenue in Durack following an earlier traffic crash between it and a stolen white Mazda 3.

This white Mazda 3 had been stolen earlier after a crash between it and a Ford Fiesta on Grange Road at Eastern Heights.

The offenders had been in the Ford Fiesta and investigations are continuing into this vehicle.

There were no reports of injuries from the traffic crash at Durack or Eastern Heights.

Anyone with information, or vision that could assist investigations, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
