Introduction
A three-year-old girl is in serious condition after a collision involving a truck and two cars on Tonkin Highway near Perth Airport. The incident occurred on Sunday evening and is under investigation by Major Crash investigators.
Crash Overview
The crash occurred on Sunday, August 4th, 2024, at approximately 6:30 PM on Tonkin Highway, near the intersection of Dunreath Road, close to Perth Airport. A truck and two cars were involved in the collision, resulting in serious injuries to a child passenger.
Injuries and Medical Response
A three-year-old girl, who was a passenger in one of the cars, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Perth Children’s Hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with the crash.
Investigation
Major Crash investigators are currently at the scene, examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. They are appealing for witnesses to come forward and provide any information that may assist in determining the cause of the crash.
