An 18-year-old boy has been hospitalised following a dramatic crash in Sydney’s southwest, where his car plunged into a creek bed. The incident has prompted an investigation by local authorities.

Incident Overview
The crash occurred early Saturday morning when the teenager lost control of his grey Subaru wagon. The vehicle was found turned on its side in a deep embankment beside the bridge on Bernera Rd at Edmondson Park around 2am.

Injuries and Hospitalization
The teenager escaped with leg injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no one else was injured.

Ongoing Investigation
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. They have not yet determined what caused the teenager to lose control of his vehicle.

Related Incident
The crash in Edmondson Park comes just over a day after a tragic incident in nearby Wetherill Park, where 18-year-old Selina Bennetts Ly died at the scene of a crash. She was driving with four passengers on Horsley Dr when she lost control of her car and crashed into a tree around 11.15pm on Thursday night. All four passengers were injured, with one left fighting for life.
