The fatal crash happened at approximately 11.15pm on Thursday. The 18-year-old female driver, on her red P-plates, was driving along The Horsley Drive when she lost control and crashed into a tree. She died instantly at the scene.
Emergency Response
The driver was killed instantly, and her four passengers, two males aged 16 and 17 and two females aged 17 and 19, were rushed to Liverpool and Westmead Hospitals with serious injuries. The male front passenger is in critical condition, while the other three in the back seat sustained serious injuries.
Passenger Regulations
P-plate drivers in NSW are restricted to driving with only one passenger. In this case, the driver had four passengers, which is a breach of the regulations.
