Three people died at the scene: Michale Chandler, Kelsie Davies, and Sheree Robertson. Another passenger in the Astra, Kayla Behrens, 17, sustained severe injuries and was hospitalized for 16 days.

The teenage driver has pleaded guilty to four charges, including dangerous driving causing death and unlawfully using a motor vehicle. The court heard that the boy had reached speeds of up to 200 kph and was driving in a “manic way” before the crash.
