Incident Overview

A teenager has been charged after allegedly driving through a police roadblock at speed, narrowly missing officers investigating a fatal crash in Ipswich, Queensland.

The incident occurred on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at approximately 1:40 am, when a black Holden Commodore ute was seen driving through the roadblock at high speed. Officers were forced to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.

No one was injured, but the act disturbed evidence from a previous fatal crash on Fernvale Road in Brassall, which had taken place earlier that evening.
