Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist was involved in a traffic crash overnight at Pimpama.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 12.15am a motorcyclist was travelling south on the Pacific Motorway when he has collided with the rear of a vehicle. The motorcyclist has fallen from the bike was struck by a following vehicle.
The rider, a 48-year-old Gold Coast man, was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Investigations are continuing.
