The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash between a vehicle and pedestrian at Kelso this morning.

At approximately 4am, police were called to Dartmoor Drive and Dunlop Street after a man was struck by a vehicle.

The 34-year-old Kelso man was transported to Townsville University Hospital in a critical condition.

The male driver and two female passengers of the vehicle were not physically injured.

Anyone with dashcam footage or information is being urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
