The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious single vehicle traffic crash that occurred in Chermside on December 20.

Initial information indicates at approximately 2pm, a Ford Territory was travelling along Hodgkinson Street when it left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 19-year-old Deagon man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
