The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash that occurred in Bororen on August 30, 2024.
Details of the Bororen Crash
Around 5:10 am, a utility and a truck carrying ammonia nitrate collided on the Bruce Highway near Daisy Dell Road. The driver of the utility, a 21-year-old Koongal man, tragically died at the scene. The truck driver, a 47-year-old New South Wales man, was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
