Incident Overview

A 21-year-old motorbike rider has tragically died after colliding with a freight train in the Riverina region of NSW.

Details of the Yenda Crash

The incident occurred just before 5:30 pm on Monday, September 2nd, on Twigg Road in Yenda, located approximately 18km northeast of Griffith. The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation and Appeal

Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District have established a crime scene and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
