The violent collision occurred on Davies Road in Padstow around 10:40 PM on Sunday, August 4th, 2024. A white Audi, allegedly driven at high speed, collided with a silver Nissan Pulsar, causing the Audi to burst into flames. The Audi was later identified as an unreturned hire car.
Injuries and Medical Response
The driver of the Nissan was rushed to St George Hospital in critical condition. He is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries. The three occupants of the Audi fled the scene before emergency services arrived.
