On Tuesday afternoon, October 8, 2024, a dramatic incident unfolded in Kangaroo Flat, a suburb of Bendigo, Victoria, when a ute towing a caravan crashed into the front of a house. The crash followed a police pursuit that began after reports of a domestic dispute.

The driver of the ute evaded police and sped away, but shortly after, the ute crashed into the front of a house on Woolcock Avenue.

The 44-year-old male driver of the ute was arrested at the scene and assessed by paramedics. He was subsequently charged with conduct endangering life, criminal damage, and dangerous driving while being pursued by police. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Bendigo Magistrates Court on Friday.
