A serious crash occurred on Friday morning, November 1, 2024, at approximately 8:15 AM, at the intersection of Coominya Connection Road and Forest Hill Fernvale Road in Mount Tarampa, west of Brisbane. The crash involved a car and a truck, resulting in injuries to four children and two adults.

All three children were transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital by road.

A woman in her 30s suffered significant back, arm, and hip injuries and was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital. A man in his 50s sustained seatbelt injuries but declined to be taken to the hospital.

Emergency Response and Road Closure

Multiple emergency services, including paramedics and rescue helicopters, responded to the scene. The roads were temporarily closed and traffic diversions were put in place. The roads have since been reopened.
