Incident Overview
An 87-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash at North Isis on Saturday, 20 December. Police say a white Holden Commodore and a white Nissan X-Trail collided at the intersection of Childers Road and Knockroe Road around midday. The elderly passenger in the Nissan was critically injured and later died in hospital. Three other people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

    • 82-year-old Apple Tree Creek man — Nissan driver; transported to Bundaberg Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
    • 17-year-old Didcot boy — Holden driver; transported to Bundaberg Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Emergency Response

  • Police and Queensland Ambulance Service attended the intersection following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
  • The critically injured passenger was transported to hospital, where she later died.
  • The remaining injured parties were taken to Bundaberg Hospital.
